Repeat prescriptions need 48 hours to process Monday to Friday. Please leave or post your written request for a repeat prescription at surgery reception.

Unfortunately, we cannot take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.

Tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. If you have lost the repeat part of your prescription then the request should be submitted in writing with precise details of the medication required and including the patient’s name, address and date of birth.

If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope).

One of the biggest pressures we are dealing with currently is requests for repeat prescriptions.

We are inundated with hundreds of extra requests each day and despite more staff working extra hours we are struggling to catch up.

To help us please can you;

1. Avoid ringing us to check if prescriptions are ready if at all possible, these repeated interruptions are slowing us down and also blocking phone lines.
2. Request your repeat medication when it is due, not early.
3. Allow a minimum of 2 working days for us to process your request.
