CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

IF YOU HAVE VIRAL SYMPTOMS OF COUGH, TEMPERATURE, SHORTNESS OF BREATH DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT HERE. PLEASE RING THE SURGERY AND SPEAK TO ONE OF OUR TEAM FIRST.

Visit www.nhs.uk or ring the NHS helpline on 111 for further information and advice about coronavirus

Self-isolation Notes

Need a self isolation note for coronavirus?

If you have to stay at home but feel well enough to work, ask your employer if you can work from home. If you can work from home, you will not need an isolation note.

If you have to stay at home because of coronavirus and you need a note for your employer use this NHS online service and not your GP practice. Thank you.

Repeat Prescriptions

One of the biggest pressures we are dealing with currently is requests for repeat prescriptions.

We are inundated with hundreds of extra requests each day and despite more staff working extra hours we are struggling to catch up.

To help us please can you;

  1. Avoid ringing us to check if prescriptions are ready if at all possible, these repeated interruptions are slowing us down and also blocking phone lines.
  2. Request your repeat medication when it is due, not early.
  3. Allow a minimum of 2 working days for us to process your request.

Thank you

Public Health Wales have released these 6 page guides, which you can download by clicking on the images of the front pages below.

Clicking the images will open a pdf file in a new tab of your web browser.

Many of us are understandably feeling anxious/worried/stressed/frightened about COVID-19 itself and also about the impact it is having on daily life, such as the enforced isolation, which can leave us feeling lonely. Check out this 5 minute video for some simple, practical tips to help us cope.
